GDCT rejects communal politics, seeks justice for victim in Rasana case

JAMMU, Apr 16: Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT) today sought justice for the victim of Rasana case and underlined the need of peace and communal harmony in the State.
In over three-hour long convention organized under the leadership of GDCT patron, Masood Choudhary and chairman, Abdul Hameed Choudhary, the speakers which included people from different organizations, caste, creed, communities and religions, said that there is a need of maintaining communal harmony for which Jammu is famous.
The participants appreciated unanimous concern of whole country in seeking justice for the victim and resolved that no space shall be conceded for communal politics. They said that the crime on 8yr old girl had made the humanity to cry but the divisive narrative in its aftermath has left everyone worrying.
The speakers put forwarded their views on situation arises post-8yr old girl case. Holding a poster of nomad girl, written ‘Justice for Nomad Girl’, all the participants said that they have demanded justice to this minor victim, who was brutally murdered after raping repeatedly and said that there is no need of CBI inquiry in the case, as demanded by a large chunk of people from Kathua.
Two minutes silence was also observed by the participants and prayed to the almighty for the noble soul of the little girl.
Hailing the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s stand in this case, Masood Choudhary, said with her bold step of CM, now the minorities in Kathua and Samba are feeling secure. He added that such steps are sense of security for minorities, when they feel that police, administration and Government are standing behind them.
