JAMMU, Apr 12: A deputation of All J&K Graduate Engineers’ Association Civil (GEA-C) led by its State president, Mujib Tak and general secretary, Gagandeep Pargal, met Minister for PHE/I&FC Department, Sham Chowdhary, and apprised him of their burning demands.
During the meeting with the Minister, a threadbare discussion was held on long pending demands of the engineers like release of running grades, regularization of services of engineers at levels, filling up of vacant posts of different cadres from AE to CE by way of promotions, release of Pay Band -4 in favour of SE cadre and empowering the Development Commissioner (Works).
The minister gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to fulfill their genuine demands at the earliest.
Gopal Sharma, Braham Jyoti Sharma, Ajay Talwar, Ajay Gupta, Satish Sharma and many others were part of the deputation.
