Gear up for poll, expand party base: Parihar to BJP activists

BASOHLI, Jan 29:  Shakti Raj Parihar, Ex Minister and former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA has asked the party workers and activists to expand the party base at booth level and gear up for the upcoming Assembly elections.
The senior BJP leader stated this while chairing BJP Shakti Kendra Pramukhs’ meet here today. He was accompanied by Jewan Lal Pahari Zila BJP president and Col (retd) Mahan Singh, District Development Council (DDC) Kathua Chairman. A large number of party workers and activists from all around Basohli and Mahanpur Mandals had gathered at the programme site despite ongoing cold wave in the entire Sub District Basohli.
Shakti Raj Parihar, while addressing the Shakti Kendra Pramukhs during the meeting emphasized on strengthening the organization and expanding its base in the region. He asserted that party workers should always remain prepared for the elections as the same could be announced anytime after completion of the delimitation process.
Stressing upon the importance of Sashakt Mandal and proactive booth functioning, Parihar desired that all the organization posts must be filled at Mandal level and a minimum 100 youth should be shortlisted for every booth.
He asked the party workers to make an appeal to the supporters to ensure micro donations and involve themselves for forthcoming party Foundation Day celebrations which will be held right up to the booth level. He directed the party cadre to personally remain present with people to listen to PM Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat on 30th January 2022.
Speaking on the occasion DDC Kathua Chairman, Col Mahan Singh briefed the party workers about various ongoing developmental works and infrastructure projects in the hilly region. He made a special mention about the recently announced Highways in the region and lauded the Modi Government for development of remote areas. Col Mahan Singh asserted that LG led UT administration stands fully committed to the development of tourism infrastructure in the hilly region of Kathua.
