BARAMULLA, May 17: Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president, Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz has asked the party workers to gear up for the Urban Local Bodies elections and there after for the general elections.
Addressing prominent party workers including Sarpanchs and Panchs of Sangrama Assmbly constituency, Prof Soz directed all of them in the meeting to start their preparations for the forth- coming Local Bodies and general elections. He told them to remain stead fast and serve the Congress party’s interests all over as this party alone can serve the people better.
Prof Soz told the workers and Sarpanchs since they happen to be prominent persons of the area they must explain to the people the ideology of the party and its achievements. The Sarpanchs and workers also projected the local issues of their interest during interaction with their leader.
Prominent among those accompanying Prof Soz included Mohd Muzaffar Parray-MLC, Ghulam Nabi Monga-MLC, Ex-MLA Shoiab Nabi Lone, Mir Mushtaq, Aftab Beigh and Altaf Malik.
