JAMMU, Sept 9: Panun Kashmir (PK) organised a meeting at Jagti township to compliment the Narendra Modi Government for the path breaking move of annulling the Article 370 and 35 A and changing the nomenclature of J&K State by re-organising it into two Union Territories.
Addressing the meeting, Pyare Lal Thussu a migrant leader complimented the Modi Government for dismantling the subversive infrastructure of Article 370 and 35 A that had kept the nationalist people of Jammu , Kashmir and Ladakh insulated from mother India.
He said this is first step for comprehensive re-organisation of the State into separate homeland for KPs with UT status to reverse the genocide.
In their address Roshan Lal Raina and Pinto Ji asked the community to gear up for taking the homeland struggle to logical conclusion. Sanjay Raina, Chand Ji Pandita, Sunil Raina coordinators, PK Jagti Unit asked the KP community not to forget the sacrifices of martyrs and security forces. They said the time has come to mobilize entire nation to stand with KPs and strive for achieving goal of separate homeland.
Dr Agnishekhar convener PK in his address said “ Time has proved that the solution to defeat the Jihadi subversion and separatism based on Muslim communalism lies in the ideology of PK. He said PK has remained steadfast in the struggle of homeland and warned the Centre from time to time that any compromise with the half separatists and so called over ground mainstream parties of Kashmir is tantamount to acknowledge balkanization of India. He complimented the Modi Government for taking a leaf out of PK activism by declaring the two UTs. But it should not stop here but lead to comprehensive reorganization of the State, he added.
Detailing about the programme of September 14 Martyrs’ Day secretary organization and Coordinator of the programme Bihari Lal Koul appealed entire community to observe the Day as Black Day and as mark of protest the community institutions, business establishments, schools and colleges should declare a complete holiday by participating Martyrs Day and hoisting black flags on the roof tops of houses and all establishments. The programme was conducted by Bushan Lal Bhat senior activist of PK.
