JAMMU, Oct 10: BJP Jammu District held a review meeting which was attended by senior party leaders. Ashok Koul, J&K BJP general secretary Organization addressed the meeting along with former Deputy CM, Kavinder Gupta; BJP District president Jammu, Vinay Gupta; vice president J&K, Yudhvir Sethi; ex-president and JMC Councillor, Baldev Singh Bilowaria and District general secretaries—Ankush Gupta, Kuldeep Kandhari and Naresh Sharma.
All senior leaders of BJP hailing from Jammu District including BJP Councillors, District Office Bearers, Mandal presidents, general secretaries, District Morchas, District Departments, District Cells and others participated in the meeting presided over by BJP District president, Vinay Gupta.
Speaking in the meeting, Ashok Koul stressed on to speed up the process of registration of voters including new voters.
He asked BJP workers including Councillors to contribute to voter registration, updating of electoral rolls and Aadhar linking going on in J&K the last date for which is October 25, 2022.
Koul instructed BJP cadres to prepare short video messages for awareness on the subject on all social media platforms.
He voiced for going door-to-door to contact the public and especially inform the youth about importance of voter registration.
Kavinder Gupta asked the BJP workers and Councillors that delimitation has been done so Assembly elections in J&K can be held at any time.
“Make full preparations for it and maintain contact with the public in the interest of all domains of the society,” he maintained.
Vinay Gupta, BJP District president Jammu said he is confident that BJP’s welfare schemes and outreach to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes will ensure its victory in next Assembly election in J&K.
Yudhvir Sethi also spoke on the occasion.
