Geelani also asked the people to hold protest demonstrations after the Friday prayers in order to build pressure on the Government of India to hand over the body of Afzal Guru.
“I appeal the people to observe complete strike on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday normal activities should be carried upto 12 PM and after that there should be complete strike. After the Friday prayers people should come out on roads and protest and renew their demand for handing over the body of Afzal Guru to his family members,” said Geelani.
