‘Geetiyan’ sets to hit silver screen for another stint

JAMMU, Dec 25: Inspired by the mounting pressure of Jammuites especially those who are fond of Dogri language, the mentors of Dogri blockbuster Geetiyan have decided to once again screen the scintillating silver screen thriller for another spell at Movie Time Indira from today.
The promising film based on the stimulating life and behavioural characteristics of gangsters prevalent during 1980s in the City of Temples showcasing breathtaking sequences along with composed depiction of Dogra Culture prevailing during those times has already captivated Jammu audience during its first inning in February this year.
Interacting with media persons, Raahul Sharma, director of the film said that it was public demand that movie ‘Geetiyan’ be re-launch as many of Jammuites have missed the earlier opportunity and wanted to watch the action oriented thriller on silver screen with state of art ambiance.
It is pertinent to mention here that the film has been made under the banner of ‘Bees Carving Directs’ with head banner of ‘Saar Films Entertainment’ and produced by Dar Communications, Angular Films and Film Waves with Tazeem Dar, Arun Sharma, Megha Sharma and Sunil Bandral as the producers. Ravi Shanker is the Executive Producer of the film.
The lead roles have been performed by Tanveer Dar, Yashpal Sharma, Ganesh Yadav, Mushtaq Kak, Master Akram, Tejasvani Sharma, Subhash Jamwal Mahesh Puri and Sher Singh.
The lyrics for the film have been written by late Kehar Singh Madhukar, Mohan Singh, Lucky Noor, Balraj Bakshi, Habib Tavishi, and Yashpal Yash. The songs have been sung by Suresh Wadekar and Javed Ali. The Music Director is Arvind Kumar.
Son of Music Director Arvind Kumar, Shubdeep arrange the music for the film. The film has been shot at Jammu and Leh.
