JAMMU, Nov 19: District Development Council (DDC) Member, Geetu Aulakh here today inaugurated various developmental works including path to the statue of late R.C Gupta at Apnavan, Sure Chak in the premises of Tawi Welfare Society.
She was the chief guest of the function organized by the Society.
Yash Pal, general secretary welcomed the guests and apprised them about various activities of their Organisation.
On this occasion 100 ration kits were distributed among needy families of 23 villages on Tawi Island and its surrounding areas.
Sonamdeep Singh, Sarpanch Panchayat Khandwal was the guest of honour.
Both the guests lauded the role of Society for the welfare of needy and underprivileged section of the society.
Nand Kishore, senior member of the Society thanked the guests for sparing their valuable time for the function.
