Gehlot launches 2-day Haldighati Youth Festival in Rajsamand

JAIPUR, May 5: Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot today inaugurated 2-day-long Haldighati Youth Festival at Nathdwara in Rajsamand district.
The Festival is being organized jointly by Rajasthan Youth Board, Udaipur division and district administration Rajsamand.
Speaking on the occasion, Gehlot said that the State Government is taking many important decisions for the better future of the youth. He said that Government is making continuous efforts to make the youth independent by connecting them with skills and technological innovations. Besides this, Government is organizing 100 mega job fairs across the State to provide employment opportunities to the youth.
“Every year Government is sending 500 students abroad so that they can hone their skills. In every corner of the State, we are opening English medium schools so that children of villages may also speak English. Youth hostels are being opened in every district and to emphasized startup ecosystem in the State, government has kept provision of a budget of Rs 250 crore,” the CM asserted.
Gehlot said that his Government is providing health insurance cover worth Rs 25 lakh and accidental insurance of Rs 10 lakh to every individual under Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. “Under social security scheme, Government is giving Rs 1000 monthly pension to the old age people and providing free coaching to the students,” he added.
Later, Gehlot inspected an Inflation Relief Camp organized in the premises of Nathdwara Municipal Office and addressed the people there. Thereafter, he participated in Satchandi Navkund Mahayagya organized by Akhil Bhartiya Sagarvanshi Maali Samaj at Kanveri Nagar (Bhilamgara).
Speaker of State Legislative Assembly Dr Cp Joshi, chairman of Rajasthan Youth Board Sitaram Lanba, Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Naresh Kumar Thakraal and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
