JAMMU, Jan 22: Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways, Gen (Retd) V.K Singh visited Skyview Patnitop by Empyrean.
He was accompanied by Khurshid Ahmed Shah, Commissioner Secretary, PWD (R&B) Department J&K, Dr. Piyush Singla, District Development Commissioner- Udhampur and Rajiv Pandey, SSP Udhampur along with other dignitaries.
He was warmly welcomed by Skyview Patnitop’s team and had an interaction with the key staff members and the technical staff. Impressed with the world-class facilities and offerings of Skyview Patnitop, Gen (Retd) VK Singh assured the management team present at the site of all the necessary support by the Government to not only promote Skyview Patnitop but also to promote tourism in J&K.
He also assured that the work on Udhampur- Chenani highway will be a priority to the Government and work will be speeded up for early completion.
He also inspected the stalls set up by Skyview Patnitop at Kendriya Vidyalaya Chenani as part of the public outreach program.
