Gender discrimination

Sir,
The evil that surrounds the entire spectrum of the society, in 21st century, is gender discrimination, and by and large, is considered serious phenomenon against the women world. The practice drags us back to 19th century when such evils were predominantly practised. We are indebted to all those reformers like Raja Ram Mohan Roy and Swami Daya Nand Saraswati Ji who had eradicated slurs like Satipratha, untouchability etc. Gender discrimination is a heinous crime. The slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, is indeed unique, and if translated into reality, by adlopting certain measures, no doubt, the society, one day, will be emancipated from the evil. The violence against fair sex in the shape of rapes, gang rapes, dowry deaths has to be curbed by stern laws. Propagation of moral and ethical values, which now seem absolutely disappeared, have to be cultivated in the society. The age long traditions of honour and dignity the women used to enjoy, have to be revived and restored to them. The mothers who give birth to daughters also need to be encouraged both socially  and  economically. A sense of social security and economically. A sense of social security and dignity is needed to be ensured, so that the womanhood isn’t subjected to humiliation and dishonour.
Yours etc…
