UDHAMPUR, Apr 1: A deputation of General Line Teacher’s Forum called on Chief Education Officer Udhampur and submitted him a charter of demands.
The deputation, led by Sarbjeet Singh and district president Vivek Gupta, discussed general issues of the teaching community and also apprised the CEO about the problems being faced by them in obtaining the GPF statements and NPS statements from their respective offices. They demanded the implementation of order no. 122-DSEJ of 2015 dated 31-03-2015, which is related to providing the General Provident Fund statements to the subscribers by 30th of May every year.
The Forum demanded suitable adjustment of unadjusted teachers of district Udhampur against the vacant posts created due to the recent adjustment of Master grades.
The Forum also demanded repatriation of the Rehbra-e-Taleem teachers who have been transferred against General Line Teachers posts and explained in detail the harmful consequences of transfer of Rehbra-e-Taleem teachers at district cadre.
Chief Education Officer Udhampur suggested to the deputation to organize teachers conferences at Zonal level to create awareness among teachers regarding the improvement in quality of education and role of teachers in various educational schemes.
Other demands, highlighted by the deputation, included release of pending Mid Day Meal dues, providing sufficient staff at different Zones ,clearance of in-situ files at earliest , entries of genuine degrees in service books, providing F-16 form at every financial year both for tax payers and non tax payers.
The CEO assured the deputation redressal of the genuine demands of teachers at the earliest.
The delegation comprised of Rakesh Singh, Rattan Singh, Romesh Gupta, Sushil Sharma, Manmohan, Ranjeet Kumar, Subash Sharma, Anil Gupta, Raj Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Romesh Kumar, Ajay Mathur, Azad, Radhey Sham and Pawan Kumar.
