JAMMU, Feb 9: Jammu Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum, affiliated to National Joint Council of Action (NJCA), today elected its provincial body for Jammu division.
Farooq Ahmed Daing has been elected as Provincial President, Sunil Singh as General Secretary, Bahadur Singh as Legal Advisor and Lal Singh as Treasurer.
Farooq Ahmad Daing assured the teachers that they would work for the betterment of the fraternity. He also requested all the teachers of Jammu province, especially those who have served the organization by one or another way, to come forward with their suggestions and support for JKGLTF.
The body was unanimously elected during the meeting held at Hari Singh Park and attended by founding member of JKGLTF and National Member of NJCA, New Delhi, Tasneem Ali Beig.
