JAMMU, July 26: A deputation of General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) led by its President, Neeraj Sharma here today met Chief Education Officer (CEO), J.K Sudan and raised the issue of Lab Assistant.
The deputation demanded confirmation of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) of Lab Assistants who are working in their own pay and grade since 2014 without any service benefits.
The Forum leaders said that being Chairman of Class-IV Committee, the CEO should immediately take all necessary steps to confirm the DPC which was hanging since 2014 without any further delay.
The deputation also demanded the issuance of time bound promotion list of all those employees who have completed their nine years of regular uninterrupted services.
The CEO assured the Forum that all the demands will be addressed soon.
Ramneesh, Jevakant, Himmat, Wasim, Tejinder, Sudesh, Amit, Naresh, Sanjeev, Surinder Singh, Josheel, Madan Mohan, Rakesh, Parshotam and others were also present in the deputation.
