UDHAMPUR, Nov 1: Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum has appealed the State Government to make SRO-469 null and void to save the future of General Line Teachers.
The demand was raised during a meeting of the Forum, held here today, under the chairmanship of general secretary.
The meet strongly condemned the Government order number 469, dated 25-06-2014 and said that by making the ReT post transferable, the present Government has rendered SSA scheme aimless and objective- less.
The Forum appealed the Village Education Committees not to recommend those names for ReT posts, who are not actual resident of their village as such people manage their transfer from the village after getting regularized.
The meet also highlighted the demands, such 4600 grade pay for PG Masters, 3200 grade pay for PG teachers, 20 percent HRA for all teachers irrespective of zone or grade, etc.
