REASI, Apr 10 : The General Observer for Jammu Parliamentary Constituency, Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal, visited Katra today to review the election preparedness of District Reasi.
During his visit, he discussed the District Election Management Plan with the District Election Officer Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, and Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi, Mohita Sharma.
General Observer Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal also visited the control room of Assembly Constituency 58 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and inspected its operations. He reviewed the working of the flying squad team, static surveillance team, video surveillance team, and video viewing team.
Additionally, he inspected the Static Surveillance Team (SST) at Nomain Nakka, Katra.
DEO Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, informed General Observer about the cash and other seizures made during the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). SSP Reasi, Mohita Sharma, briefed about the deployment of teams for the Lok Sabha elections.
ARO 58 – SMVD Piyush Dhotra, ASP Katra Vipin Chandran, Tehsildar Katra Jatinder Singh, SDPO Katra Surinder Singh Baloria and other officers were present.
