Leh, May 3, 2024: The General Observer to 01-Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency, B H Talati IAS visited 8 polling stations in Nimoo Block today on May 3.
The General Observer was accompanied by Naib Tehsildar, Leh, Mohd Hassan, GQ, Tsewang Nurboo and FST team, E-6 of Nimoo Block headed by Naib Tehsildar, Basgo, Velayat Ali.
The polling stations that the General Observer visited were Office of Block Development Officer, Nimoo, Government High School, Nimoo, Government Middle School Zasa, Government High School, Basgo, Government Primary School, Sumdha Dho, Government Primary School, Sumdha Chung, Ezang Yokma House, Ezang and Government Primary School, Chilling.
During the visit,the General Observer checked the minimum facilities available at the polling stations and interacted with each of the BLOs regarding the number of electors and encouraged them to ensure maximum voting percentage.
Additionally, he also interacted with the villagers of the different polling stations. During his interactions, he met a 92 year-old male voter from Chilling who showcased his enthusiasm to cast his vote on May 20.
