JAMMU, Aug 4: Dabgotra Charitable Trust (DCT) appealed BJP and Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to get ‘Smart City’ Project sanctioned for Jammu in the Power Steering Committee (PSC) meeting to be held tomorrow.
In a handout issued, Chairman, DCT and RTI Activist Som Nath Dabgotra said that BJP has the chance to save its face by getting Smart City Project sanctioned for Jammu.
“AIIMS issue has badly affected the image of BJP in Jammu and if Smart City Project too gets sanctioned for Srinagar, then in the times to come, BJP will face much more difficulties to get into power again”, he added.
The Smart City Project for Jammu will act as a face savor for the BJP, Dabgotra said, adding that to maintain regional harmony between Jammu and Kashmir is in the hands of BJP.
“Smart City Project for Jammu will solve all the problems like electricity shortage problem, water problem, roads problem, lack of health infrastructure and education problem”, he added.
