JAMMU, Mar 18: A joint meeting of the representatives of J&K Government Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (GEWJAC)- R, was held under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, State president of the Association.
All the representatives appealed the State Government to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including removal of pay anomalies/disparity of Clerical cadre and release of pending DA @ 10% and 7% w.e.f. January and July, 2014 in cash; increase Medical allowance from Rs 300 per month to Rs 2000 pm, dislocation allowance to all the officials who are posted outside their home district and release of budget for early disposal of all the pending cases of GP Fund withdrawal.
Those present in the meeting were Khurshid Ahmad Dewani, Bharat Bhushan, Yashpal Sharma, Nazir Ahmed Butt, Parshotam Sharma, Shehzadi Gill, Seva Ram Rathore and others.
