GGF organizes medical-cum-awareness camps

JAMMU, Dec 19: Gandhi Global Family (GGF) J&K organized COVID-19 medical-cum-awareness camps at Govindpur in Chatha area, Jewel Chowk and Maratha Colony in Trikuta Nagar area of Jammu.
The camps were organized in collaboration with Indian Systems of Medicine, Akhil Bhartiya Safai Mazdoor Sangh and Green India Foundation. During the camps, AYUSH Immunity Boosting medicines were provided to general public through expert team of doctors, following the guidelines issued by the local administration.
Sarpanch Raman Wazir (senior advocate, J&K High Court) inaugurated the camp at Govindpur while Corporator Amit Gupta inaugurated the camp at Jewel Chowk in the presence of Jaswinder Singh Kuku and Robert Robin Gill (both advisor GGF Jammu city), Younis Mattoo (chairman, GIF), Lucky Chidha (president ABSMS), Neeraj Sharma, Zorawar Singh, Saroon Nayer, Sahul Naar and dozens of local prominent citizens.
Over 335 people at Govindpura, 710 people at Jewel Chowk and 290 people at Trikuta Nagar were attended by Dr Shifali Sharma (MO), Dr Sukhpreet Kour and pharmacist Nishad Khajuria. Awareness on COVID-19 was also conducted by the team of ISM doctors at all three locations.
GGF J&K, president Dr S P Varma said that the Camps were dedicated to Olympian Pargat Singh (former captain, Indian Hockey Team), Indian origin British Parliamentarian Lord Rami Ranger (UK) and Indian Mathematics Educator – Anand Kumar (of Super 30 programme).
