JAMMU, Sept 10 : GGM Science College alumni remembered and paid rich tribute to Maj Akash Singh Sambyal, Shaurya Chakra,5 Maratha Light Infantry on his Balidan Diwas.
Maj Akash lost his life to safeguard the nation against the nefarious designs of terrorists and made the supreme sacrifice in 2009 in Mendhar while fighting the terrorists. He will always be remembered and nation will remain indebted to him.
His class fellows, juniors and seniors remembered Maj Akash Singh and recalled the time spent with him. He was an active NCC cadet, full of passion, and he was commissioned into the glorious Indian Army in 1999.
