GHH launches ‘Aarogya Ka Abhishek’

JAMMU, Dec 2: In continuation with its health mission for eradication of diseases from J&K, Global Helping Hand (GHH) today launched ‘Aarogya Ka Abhishek’.
The launching was done by General K.C Mehta (retired) through social media due to COVID restrictions and the inaugural programme was titled as ‘War Against Cancer’.
Speaking on the occasion General Mehta stressed that in the present scenario the cancer causing agents are present everywhere and the only way we can save ourselves is by creating awareness amongst the public.
He further said that important lifestyle factors that cause the cancer and mortality due to it include tobacco, alcohol, junk food consumption, obesity, infectious agents, environmental pollutants and radiations.
General Mehta assured that he personally would always be ready to help anyone in need.
J.K Raina Reshi, president Global Helping Hands thanked General Mehta while Muskan, additional general secretary GHH appealed to the general public to respond to the signals received by our body regarding any abnormality inside or outside.
Col Ravi Dhar (retired), Coordinator, Mata Nirmala Devi, Sahaja Yoga Trust Jammu, Vimarashi Koul, Sheetal Kaul, S.L Pandita, Bulbul, Mukesh Yogi, Radhika and Shikha were also present on the occasion.
