JAMMU, Aug 26: People of Gho-Manhassan village who held a meeting here, today stated that they have been living without electricity in the scorching heat for the last 10 days.
We have been living without power for last 10 days as the power transformer of the area which had gone out of order, has not yet been repaired despite repeated requests to the concerned officer.
The study of our school going children has been badly affected in the absence of power, they said and appealed the Chief Engineer, Power Development Department to issue directions to the concerned officer to get the faulty transformer repaired immediately.
