KISHTWAR, Dec 30: A 20-year-girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance.
As per police sources, a girl namely Sapna (20), daughter of Shadi Lal allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence in Kishtwar.
Finding her unconscious, she was rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar from where she was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where she failed to respond to the treatment and died.
After conducting autopsy, the body of the girl has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Kishtwar Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
