JAMMU, June 26: A girl was among three persons, who ended their lives by consuming some poisonous substances.
As per police sources, 25 year-old Bindu, a resident of Bishnah allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence.
Finding her unconscious, family members rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last early morning.
In another incident, Roshan Sharma (25), son of Madan Lal of Upper Gadigarh consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Family members shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and died.
Meanwhile, 50-year-old Shanker Singh of Billawar, district Kathua allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The bodies were handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started to ascertain the reasons behind such extreme steps.
