DODA, Nov 14: A girl has been arrested for killing grandmother with sharp edged weapon and injuring three others.
As per police sources, a girl identified as Rita Devi, daughter of Munshi Ram, a resident of Khartar Duga, Marmat Goha killed her grandmother Tassi Devi (60), wife of Chaya Ram with sharp edged weapon. She also inflicted injuries to her father Munshi Ram, brother Suresh Kumar and sister Asha.
On getting information, a team from Goha Police Post rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Doda, where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in. Police also arrested Rita Devi.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Doda Police Station and investigation started.
