Srinagar, Mar 20: Police today said girl attempted suicide in Kulgam district of South Kashmir.
A police spokesman said the girl (name withheld) hailing from Yaripora village of Kulgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“She was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
