JAMMU, May 24: A Kashmir Pandit girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Jagti, Nagrota.
As per reports, 18-year-old Shivani, daughter of Manoranjan Dhar of Jagti, Nagrota, was found hanging at her residence.
She was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors declared her as brought dead.
After postmortem, her body was handed over to its family members for last rites, while police has registered a case and started investigation to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
