JAMMU, June 1: A girl allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous stuff at her residence in Batehra area of the city outskirts.
As per reports, 20-year-old Rohini Sharma, daughter of Ram Pal of Bathera, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at her residence, yesterday.
Finding her unconscious, family members shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where she failed to respond to the treatment and breathed her last, late night.
The body has been handed over to family members for last rites after completion of legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
