JAMMU, Oct 10: The dead body of a girl was found today under mysterious circumstances outside her house at Channi Himmat.
According to police sources, the girl identified as Deya (20) daughter of Krishan Lal and resident of House No 382, Marble Market, Channi Himmat, was found unconscious outside her house in the wee hours.
The police immediately shifted her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH, Jammu for treatment, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
After post mortem by a team of three doctors, the body was handed over to the legal heirs for last rites. The entire process of post mortem of the dead body of the girl was also videographed.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station, Channi Himmat, which started inquest proceedings U/S 174 CRPC in the case.
