UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: In an apparent case of suicide, a young girl was found hanging at her house in Ramnagar, here today.
The deceased, identified as Mansbi (18), daughter of Manoj Kumar, resident of Ward No-04, Ramnagar, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family member, a Police party from Police Station Ramnagar, led by SHO, Inspector Sohan Singh, reached the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar for postmortem. After completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
