JAMMU, Nov 21: A girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with fan hook at her residence in Gandhi Nagar area, here today.
As per police sources, a 25-year-old girl identified as Neha Manhas, daughter of Mohinder Singh Manhas, a resident of Gandhi Nagar allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself with fan hook at her residence.
Finding her hanging, family members informed the police and the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting autopsy, it was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case in this regard has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
