RAMBAN, Apr 12: A girl, who has to get married in next few days, has been kidnapped from Pernote area, falling under the jurisdiction of Ramban Police Station.
As per police sources, a man hailing from Pernote lodged a complaint with Police Station Ramban stating that during the intervening night of April 11 and 12, her daughter has been kidnapped by Mohammad Amin of Wagan tehsil Banihal along with his two associates namely Hayat Ali of Pernote and Shakir Ali of Nai Basti. The girl has to get married in next few days.
Acting over the compliant, a case under FIR Number 50/18 under Section 366 and 109 RPC has been registered at Police Station Ramban and hunt has been launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled today.
