SAMBA, Oct 25: A girl was killed in a road accident at Main Chowk Samba, today. She was identified as Diksha Kandral, 18, D/o Vijay Singh Kandral R/o Chakmanga Rakwal.
The girl who was on a scooty bearing registration number JK21C 7516 which her grand father Gopal Singh, 70, R/o Durui Samba was driving and after reaching the Main Chowk Samba the scooty was hit by a truck bearing registration number JK03 3581 from back side. The girl fell down and the truck ran over her. The girl was immediately taken to the District Hospital Samba where doctors declared her as brought dead. The body of the girl has been shifted to the mortuary for the postmortem. The Samba Police has taken the congnisance of the case and started investigation.
