SAMBA, Mar 26: A girl set herself ablaze at her residence in Ward No 4 Vijaypur this afternoon.
She was identified as Prinika Devi, 22, daughter of Bram Dev of Vijaypur. Reports said that Prinka Devi and her sister were alone in the house and the girl went in her room dozed kerosene oil over her person and set herself ablaze.
She was rushed to Sub District Hospital, Vijaypur where doctors seeing her critical referred to GMC Jammu for treatment. The reports said that Prinika had received 60 percent burns and she was battling for her life till last reports came in.
Vijaypur Police has registered a case.
