JAMMU, Nov 26: A 17-years-old girl today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, a teen-aged girl identified as Anjana (17) daughter of Vijay Kumar, a resident of Gandala (Udhampur), was shifted here at GMCH on November 9 after she suffered about 67 % burn injuries at her residence in a fire incident.
However, the girl succumbed to her injuries today at about 11.45 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
