SRINAGAR, June 23: The girl resident of Paribal, Bandipora who in a bid to commit suicide set herself to fire on June 13 at her home died in the hospital today.
A police spokesperson said that during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday, a 16 years old girl (name withheld) of Paribal, Bandipora succumbed to her injuries at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar. She was admitted in the hospital when she set herself ablaze on.
The body was handed over her relatives for last rites. A case FIR No. 106/2013, under Section 306 RPC stands registered in this regard.
