JAMMU, Sept 18: Strongly opposing the Government order asking ‘Darbar’ move employees from Jammu region to resume their duties, State Government Employees Joint Action Committee (SGEJAC), Jammu has urged upon the Chief Secretary to give some more reasonable time to the employees who are still recovering from the state of shock of having been trapped in flood on the building for couple of days without food and water in Srinagar.
Talking to media-persons here today senior members of the SGEJAC, Subash Verma, Sushil Sudan, Suresh Verma and Babu Hussain Malik condemned the Government order forcing Darbar move employees from Jammu region to resume their duties in flood ravaged Kashmir. They said the situation was not conducive to join and first favourable atmosphere is needed to be created for the employees to work there. Many employees are still in the state of shock and they need some time for rehabilitation.
The SGEJAC members while expressing serious concern over the disaster which hit the parts Kashmir and other areas, said that they were with the victims and their families in this time of crisis. They also expressed their sympathy with those who lost their dear ones in flood and suffered heavy damages and urged upon the Government to provide them relief.
