NEW DELHI : India has given a ‘tit-for-tat’ reply to ceasefire violations by Pakistan, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said today.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh, admitting that there have been ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the border but said the Border Security Force has given a ‘tit-for tat’ reply.
“Han Pak ki taraf se ye koshish hui hai lekin humari Border Security Force ne muh tod jawaab dia hai (Yes, there have been such attempts by Pakistan. However, our border security force has given a tit-for-tat reply),” Mr Singh said. In reply to a question, Mr Singh said, “There have been attempts to provoke Indian forces (by Pakistan).” The statement by Mr Singh came amid reports of ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the border.
