NEW DELHI, Jan 24: International crude oil price for Indian Basket rose to 109.96 dollars per barrel (bbl) on January 23.
It stood at 109.49 dollars/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of January 22, according to official data released here today.
In rupee terms also, crude oil price increased to Rs 5912.55 per barrel on January 23 as compared to Rs 5,858.81 per barrel on January 22. “This was due to price increase in dollar terms and rupee deprecation.”
Rupee dollar-exchange rate on January 22 was Rs 53.77 per dollar against Rs 53.51 per dollar on previous trading day. (UNI)
