JAMMU, Mar 23: On the historic occasion of inauguration of newly built Sharda Temple on the sacred bank of Krishnganga river at Teetwal Kupwara on Navreh i.e First Navratra, Executive members of Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj and Global Solace led by Kiran Wattal convener along with Dr. Agnishekhar eminent Writer and thinker participated in the event.
This year’s Saptrishi calender of the year 5099 depicting Goddess Sharada in Ethnic Kashmiri Attire playing Shattantri Veena was released by Ravindra Raina JK UT president BJP in presence of Swami V.R. Gaurishankar of Shringeri Math, DC Kupara D.Sagar Dattatrey, SSP Yugal Manhas, Ravindra Pandita, Kamal Ganjoo, Punit Jyotshi and Punit Bhola.
Soon after this a world class LED glow light Pratima of Goddess Sharda seated in the sanctum sanctorum of ancient Shardapeeth (POK) having inbuilt MP3 pre recorded Sharda Mahima and hymns dedicated to Goddess Sharda was also released by Swami V.R.Gaurishanka of Shringeri Math. Speaking on the occasion Swamiji appreciated the concept of making of this significant LED glow light and appealed the devotees of Goddess Sharda in general and youngsters in particular to connect to the roots by listening to it daily. He blessed the members of the Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj for pursuing the selfless social service.
