Glowing tribute paid to Jaitley on his 5th death anniversary

JAMMU, Aug 24: Rich tribute were paid to the former Finance Minister and veteran BJP leader, Late Arun Jaitley on his 5th death anniversary here, today. The function was attended by family members, family friends and his admirers as well as BJP activists in large number.

At the outset his sister-in-law Nidhi Dogra Sharma, chairperson Dogra Samaj Trust Mumbai and daughter of legendary political leader, Girdhari Lal Dogra , spoke briefly on the life and works of Jaitley. She said that Jaitley had special love and liking for Jammu and played a pivotal role in the developmental endeavours of Jammu and Kashmir.
Capt (retd) Lalit Sharma and former APCCF accompanied by Dogra Harish Kaila president Nimi Dogra Sanstha (NDS) and Prof. Anupama Sharma, patron NDS paid homage to the departed leader on behalf of Nami Dogri Sanstha. Capt( retd) Lalit Sharma described Jaitley a proud national leader, a legal luminary who was the leading lawyer of Supreme Court and a great visionary and thinker ahead of his time.
Kavinder Gupta former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir said that Jaitley was a tall and versatile leader who was a recognised intellectual, a noted advocate and a vibrant political figure .
Kavinder who paid heartfelt tribute to veteran leader, recalled Jaitley’s immense contribution to the nation, his remarkable intellect, and his steadfast commitment to the growth and development of India.
Kavinder said, “Jaitley was a towering leader whose wisdom, legal acumen, and understanding of economic affairs transformed the country. His vision laid the foundation for several key reforms that continue to guide India’s progress.”
Chander Prakash Ganga former Minister described him as a great human being and a humble personality despite his high official positions.
Sat Pal Sharma former Minister said that Jaitley Ji had always soft corner for Jammu and Kashmir and described him an orator of par excellence.
Ashok Khajuria, while paying tribute to the great leader said that Jaitley was a complete personality who has played a significant role for making a strong India and was a internationally recognised figure.
Shravan Sharma co-brother of Arun Jaitley recalled his long association with him and said that he always made us proud.
Other personalities who paid tribute on the occasion included Satish Sharma BJP leader from Billawar, Mahant Ji from QileWali Mata Hiranagar, Bharti Sharma from Hiranagar, Ashwani Sharma from Gara, Sudesh Kumar DDC Chairman from Sallan, Munish Dogra and Youth from Hiranagar in large numbers.
On the occasion two minutes silence was observed in memory of late leader.
