Glowing tributes paid to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru on their 89th Martyrdom Day

JAMMU, Mar 23: Glowing tributes were paid to Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru the great patriots who laid down their lives for the freedom of India from British yoke on their 89th Martyrdom Day today.
BJP State president, Ravinder Raina, vice president, Yudhvir Sethi paid floral tributes to the great heros of India at Raina’s residence today where due to lockdown in view of Coronavirus a simple programme was held. On this day in 1931 these three brave sons of India embraced gallows smilingly paving way for India’s freedom.
While paying tributes to the martyrs Raina said that these martyrs are immortal and they will be remembered by millions of Indian’s till this world exists.
Both Raina and Sethi also paid tributes to 17 CRPF jawans who attained martyrdom in a cowardly terror attack of Naxalites at Sukhma district of Chattisgarh.
BJP leaders including general secretary (Org) of the party, Ashok Kaul, former Deputy CM, Kavinder Gupta and MLC, Vikram Randhawa also paid glowing tributes to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. They garlanded the portraits of the martyrs and said country will always be indebted to them for their supreme sacrifice.
Rich tributes were also paid to martyrs by BJYM State president, Arun Dev Singh Jamwal and his team. While recalling their sacrifices at Shaheedi Samarak Bhagat Singh Chowk Bakshi Nagar they said Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev were the real heros. Arun Dev Singh said their sacrifices will inspire the countrymen for centuries together.
Dogra Sanghthan also paid glowing tributes to these great freedom fighters. Recalling their services and sacrifices Amit Kapoor president of the Sanghthan said India will never forget their courage and sacrifices.
Martyrs’ Day Remembrance Committee held a commemoratory meeting through teleconferencing on the 89th Martyrdom Day of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru and paid rich tributes to them. Those who paid tributes to martyrs included D K Khajuria, J A Kazmi and B L Kalgotra (all advocates), Uday Chand, S Kuldip Singh, Dr Ghanisham Singh Charak, Dewan Chand, H S Lalotra, Ravi Singh, Pt. Tek Chand Sapolia, Ravi Kumar, Shanker Chib, S Hari Singh, Ashok Randhawa, Romesh Singh, Swaran Singh, Balwant Kalotra, Chuni Lal Mistri, Arvind Singh, M U Salaria and others.
Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray president Manish Sahni also paid glowing tributes to martyrs along with other members of the organization at his residence. The party observed two minutes silence in their memory. Sahni asked partymen that launching a decisive battle against COVID-19 will be a great tribute to these martyrs.
Peoples Revolutionary Forum (PRF) also paid glowing tributes to Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru at a function held at PRF chief Mir Ghulam Rasool’s residence at Butwani Ganderbal in Kashmir Valley. Mir, while recalling the supreme sacrifices of the martyrs said that the nation has still to go a long way to attain the real freedom as was dreamed by these great heros of India.
Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) organised a function to remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru who attained martyrdom on this day in 1931.
The function was organized under the leadership of Ved Gandotra, its chairman and Rajiv Mahajan vice chairman of the organisations at Dogra Shaurya Sathal, Ambphala. The two leaders recalled their heroic role in freedom struggle while paying glowing tributes to them.
Kranti Dal also paid rich tributes to martyrs of freedom movement. The Kranti Dal leader Pritam Sharma while paying tributes to the martyrs said that nation can never forget their supreme sacrifices and every Indian is indebted to them.
National Panthers Party also observed the Martyrs Day and paid rich tributes to Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. The Party also observed its Foundation Day as on this day in 1982 Prof Bhim Singh after resigning from Congress had laid foundation of Panthers Party. The NPP activists observed the day at district headquarters in entire J&K.
On the occasion Prof Bhim Singh appealed the youth of undivided J&K to arise to the situation to uphold the dignity of the State and its residents without fear of oppression, depression or suppression. He said Panthers Party is the only hope in the present era and the Party workers will leave no stone unturned to achieve its targets set in the foundation declaration of the party.
Batwals India Social Organisation, general secretary, R L Kaith and Jammu & Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association, general secretary, Naib Sarpanch, Ram Lal Lakhotra also paid rich tributes to Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru on their 89th Martyrdom Day today.
Members of the National Awami Student Union paid floral tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Bhagat Singh Chowk at Bakshi Nagar, Jammu today. While paying rich tributes, Nitin Gupta and Saksham Sasan called upon the youth of the union territory that at the present time it is necessary that all should unite and fight the crisis that has come on the country. The union members paid tribute to the martyrs on the direction of National Awami United Party National President Sandeep Singh.
