UDHAMPUR, July 30: A deputation of the General Line Teachers Forum (GLTF) led by Dr Purshotam Singh, district president, Udhampur, and Vivek Gupta, vice president, met Neelam Langeh, MLA, Ramban and putforth by demands of the teachers fraternity, today.
The demands putforth by deputation included revoking Government order 469 dated 25/6/14, ban on transfer of ReT Teachers, cancel all the transfer of ReT Teachers done by various Chief Education Officers and revert them to their original place of posting, adjustment of Masters who were promoted in February 2014, residence, education allowance in favour of all who are serving beyond 13 km from their residence, education allowance for higher degrees, enticement of medical allowance, implementation of Government order number 252.
Ramban, MLA gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to raise their voice in the coming monsoon session of State Legislative Assembly.
Other present were Sohan Lal, Ajeet Singh, Naresh Sharma, Govind Singh, Kusum, Gulchain Singh and others.
