LEH, Feb 10: A delegation from GM Pore in Kargil called on LG RK Mathur here at Raj Niwas on Friday.
As per a statement, the delegation comprised of Panch, Gaskal IX, Mohammad Abideen; Panch, Gaskal-VII; Mohammad Zakir and Panch, GM Pore A Rahimthang, Haji Hadi.
It said that the Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI) members raised several issues related to the constituency. They requested for the creation of posts of medical and paramedical staff at the 20-bedded Government Hospital GM Pore to make it fully functional with all health facilities and equipment.
They also requested for upgradation of the existing Government Girls High School at GM Pore to Government Girls Higher Secondary School. The PRI members also sought a community hall at Panchayat GM Pore-B.
