Srinagar, Dec 24: Govt Medical College (GMC) today constituted a 7-member Scientific Research Committee (SRC) for the year 2022-23.
The SRC is headed by Dr Sabhiya Majid of the Department of Bio-Chemistry, GMC while Dr Sheikh Imran Sayeed, of the Department of Physiology, is the Member Secretary of the SRC.
The members of the SRC include Dr Majid Jehangir of Department of Radio-Diagnosis, Dr Zaid Ahmad Wani of Department of Psychiatry, Dr Ajaz Ahmad, Research Scientist-I, Dr Mohd Younis Rather, Research Scientist-II, while as Dr Sayed Manzoor Qadri of DHSK is going to be the Epidemiologist for the SRC.
The main task of the SRC is to formulate policy on all research-related matters which impact the strategic objectives of the College while as to review and overseeing the implementation of the College’s policy on research ethics.
