JAMMU, Oct 12: The Emergency Operation Theatre (OT) of GMC Jammu will be converted into COVID-19 OT for temporary basis from October 14.
An order in this connection was issued today by Dr (Prof) Nasib Chand Digra, Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu taking cognizance of the problems being faced by various Surgical Specialities and Anaesthesia team for performing emergency/routine surgeries of COVID-19 patients in Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
“Till some alternative arrangements are made in this regard, Emergency OT of GMC Jammu will be converted into COVID-19 OT,” reads the order which shall come into force from October 12.
