JAMMU, Oct 3: Dev Raj, Statistician in the Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu has been awarded with the “Honorary Doctorate in Science” by the Central University of America, Bolivia.
He worked under the guidance of Dr Dinesh Kumar (Ex-HoD) and Dr Rajiv K Gupta (present HoD, Department of Community Medicine, GMC Jammu). The award was conferred upon him by the Central University of America, Bolivia on the recommendation of Dr Rajiv K Gupta and Dr Ashutosh Gupta (Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu) through Dr S Radhakrishnan Teacher’s Welfare Association, Bengaluru.
Dev Raj received the “Doctorate of Science” award for his contribution in the field of research work going on in GMC Jammu. He has devoted his 14 years of service in the Education Department and now for the last six years he is giving his services to GMC Jammu where he is playing pivotal role in the research work with the application of different statistical techniques. His dedication and expertise in statistics earned him recognition.
