KATHUA, Feb 13: The newly established Government Medical College, (GMC), Kathua has been recognised for Paramedical Courses for upcoming session.
This was stated by an official spokesperson of GMC Kathua in a press release issued here today. The affiliation to start paramedical courses has been granted by Directorate of CDC, University of Jammu vide Order No: CDC/2020/16644-56 Dated 12-02-2020 for the session 2020-21.
The handout said the courses for which permission has been granted are BSC Medical Lab Technology, BSC Operation Theatre Technology & BSC Renal Dialysis Technology. Order has been issued after recommendation of Committee constituted for the purpose was approved by the Vice Chancellor in anticipation of approval of the competent body.
The handout said the seeds sown by Government have started bearing fruits and credit for the same goes to Financial Commissioner, Health and Medical Education, Atal Dulloo who took keen interest in this regard.
